Wall Unit Cabinet: Mid Century Danish Teak Bookcase

This vintage mid century modern step-back teak secretary bookcase or wall unit cabinet was made in Denmark in 1981. This beautiful cabinet is elegantly proportioned with clean, minimalist lines and is well-crafted from teak wood with a rich, warm tone and beautiful natural grain. The two-piece cabinet features a lower cabinet with two doors on the left opening on storage with one adjustable and removable shelf and two spacious drawers to the right. The upper hutch features two glass doors on the left with one removable glass display shelf and one fixed wooden display shelf and the right side features a drop-down writing surface with additional storage. The cabinet has fully finished interiors and all doors and drawers have distinctive inset sculpted handles. This versatile cabinet can be used as a bookcase and secretary, china cabinet, bar cabinet, storage or display cabinet, etc. Perfect for home or office. The two-piece construction allows for easier transport and storage. The cabinet is lighted with two light bulbs with on/off buttons hidden behind the wood panels at the upper shelves on each side, however cords have been removed. Can be rewired.

CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Two very small holes drilled in upper cabinet sides and square cut out of back of lower cabinet for wires as per photos.
