This original vintage nickel Parentesi ceiling pendant light was designed by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzu for Flos in 1971. The word ‘Parentesi’ (Italian for ‘brackets’ or ‘parenthesis’) refers to the nickel-plated shaped tube that slides vertically along a floor-to-ceiling steel cable. Internal friction allows the tube to be positioned anywhere along the cable without the need for screws and the pivoting fixture head with flood lightbulb allows for adjustable directional lighting.

Brand new Flos 120W BR-40 medium reflector flood incandescent lightbulb included. Additional cable wire included to accommodate high ceilings up to 13’.
