This antique mission style three stack wooden lawyer or barrister bookcase cabinet is from the early 1900s. Well-crafted from tiger oak wood, this modular bookshelf disassembles into five individual pieces including separate top and base with three glass shelf units that can be stacked in any order or quantity. This unique version features a top shelf with lovely decorative leaded glass and a less common bottom drawer. The cabinet has finished interiors and original round brass knobs that open the doors by pulling up and sliding back using a patented lift and recess closure mechanism. All three shelf units easily lift on and off the base unit.
CONDITION
Very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. General surface wear expected with natural aging. One small strip of wood has been replaced on the cabinet backside.
