This vintage mid century Danish modern two-piece rosewood bookcase designed by Carlo Jensen for Hundevad & Co. was made in Denmark circa 1960. The minimalist Scandinavian modern design features clean, geometric lines and the cabinet is impeccably crafted from rosewood with gorgeous natural wood grain. The upper step-back hutch has six adjustable and removable shelves over two fixed lower shelves. The lower cabinet has two doors with three adjustable open drawers on the left including a felt-lined top drawer and one adjustable and removable shelf on right. The lower doors are lockable with original working key. This versatile cabinet is perfect for home or office; use as bookcase, display cabinet, bar cabinet, open china cabinet, media console, etc. The two-piece construction allows for more convenient transport and storage. Two Hundevad and Danish Control paper stickers and one Hundevad and Danish Control, Made in Denmark stamp on back.

CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Thin cut-out at lower back edge of upper hutch is part of the original design.
