This beautiful antique Art Deco wooden dining room table is circa 1940. The table is exceptionally well-crafted from solid wood, birdseye maple veneer and a Macassar ebony veneer tabletop with striking grain pattern. The table has a clean, modern form with rounded table edges and table legs accented with applied inlaid wood decorative strips featuring an intricate diamond pattern. The dining table has a removable custom glass top. Maker’s stamp to underside, but text is faded and illegible. No extending table leaves present.
CONDITION
Very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use and an antique appearance. Solid and sturdy. Wood veneer tabletop has raised grain if used without glass top. Some surface scratches to glass top as expected with use over time.
