Vintage Mid Century Floor Lamp with Glass Column and Chrome Finish by Hansen

This vintage mid century modern glass and chrome base floor lamp designed by Stewart Ross James for Hansen Lighting Co., N.Y. is circa 1970. The sleek, modernist design features a simple solid glass cylindrical column on a polished chrome square base. The lamp is solid and sturdy and incredibly well-made and has triple porcelain sockets with a unique three-way collar switch at the top of the column and a clear plug-in cord. The base stands on four adjustable leveling chrome feet. Lampshade not included. Stamped “Hansen Lamps, New York” on underside.

Excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use.
